THE KVETCH: Boy does Aganda Bender blow it with his post on Dennis Prager (scroll down to "The Tree in the Mirror"; what is it with Blogger permalinks these days?!) and Andrew Sullivan. Bender writes that Prager is "a handy example of the type (conservative, christian, gay-disliking but not hating, a tree that can't see itself for the forest) that Andrew anatomizes so deftly here." Um, no comment.

James Antle comments on this week's column: BTW, wasn't there a "Weird Al" parody of R.E.M.'s "Stand" called "Spam?" Maybe it's time to revive, in a new context.

Speaking of Weird Al, I found it quite shocking that Eminem wouldn't let him record a video of his parody of "Lose Yourself." Some reports say that Em is worried that the music video would "detract from his lagacy." If the reports are true, then Eminem is so over.

Finally, I'd just like to say that I may be the only person in the country who isn't going to see the Matrix this weekend. (Well, maybe are a few holdouts.) That is all.
